Finnish Commemorative Two-Euro Coins collection 2004-2014

The collection includes all special two-euro coins released in Finland in 2004–2014.

Two-euro special coins are collectors' favourites and an easy way to get into the collecting hobby. Special two-euro coins are minted to commemorate significant persons, the anniversaries of historic events, or other events with historical significance.

Each Eurozone country is allowed to release two commemorative two-euro coins each year. In exceptional years, the states may also jointly release a third special coin commemorating a subject with pan-European importance.

Two-euro commemorative coins are legal tender in all euro countries. They have identical technical features and the same reverse side as ordinary two-euro coins. However, the national side of the commemorative coins bears a special motif different from that on regular coins.
