Description: The coin depicts the Maulbronn Monastery, the best preserved medieval monastery in the north of the Alps. It was founded in 1147 and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1993. The end of the year is 2013. The bottom right is the text "BADEN-WÜRTTEMBERG" and underneath the issuing country's "D". On the right side of the inner part there is a Mint ID (A, D, F, G or J). Below the left are the artist's initials. The outer ring of the coin is 12 stars of the European Union.
